At Ragati River Fly Company we’re committed to giving back. This begins with a commitment of 10% of our profits going to causes we believe will make a difference in our community, our veterans, our beloved rivers, and our Kenyan-based artisans. Additionally, we value service to country and therefore offer a 10% discount to customers serving their local communities and our nation.
We will structure our philanthropic efforts along the following priorities:
Priority 1: Elevating the Standard of Living for our Kenyan Artisans
We are committed to ensuring our Kenyan-based partners benefit from our compassionate capitalism approach. As such, we will focus our efforts in two primary areas: medical access in the form of a community fund for our Kenyan tyers and their families, and educational scholarships for their children that ensure contained access to primary education.
Priority 2: Affecting Change in Our Local Communities
Fly fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts understand the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits offered by our “greatest idea ever” - our national parks and wilderness areas. We are committed to assisting our disabled veterans and under-privileged communities in gaining access to the outdoors and pursuits we all enjoy.
Priority 3: Supporting Conservation Efforts
"There can be nothing in the world more beautiful than the Yosemite, the groves of the giant sequoias and redwoods, the Canyon of the Colorado, the Canyon of the Yellowstone, the Three Tetons; and our people should see to it that they are preserved for their children and their children’s children forever, with their majestic beauty all unmarred.” President Theodore Roosevelt inspired generations of leaders, but was also one of the greatest champions of our wilderness and the need to protect these lands. In that line, we are committed to ensuring our rivers remain pristine for future generations. RRFC will work with established conservation organizations to continue Teddy’s vision also pertains to our rivers.
